Welcome to GutCompass. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them before continuing. They apply together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
GutCompass is a personal tracking and organization tool. Nothing in the app — including AI-generated suggestions, trigger-food analysis, food safety checks, doctor reports, or chat responses — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your symptoms, diagnosis, medications, or treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in this app.
GutCompass is not designed for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including severe pain, heavy bleeding, dehydration, fainting, difficulty breathing, or any symptom that feels urgent — contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.
You must be at least 13 years old to use GutCompass.
Information you enter — including logs, symptoms, medications, and health history — is stored securely and used to power the app's features, including AI-assisted analysis you choose to run. You can review, edit, or permanently delete your data at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your data and cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
AI-generated content (trigger-food analysis, food safety checks, Gut Bud chat responses, voice and photo logging, and doctor reports) is generated automatically from the information you provide and may be incomplete, generic, or inaccurate. Review AI output critically and use your own judgment, especially before making any health-related decision.
GutCompass is free to use with limited AI features. Two optional paid plans are available:
Prices are in US dollars and may vary in other regions. Subscriptions are monthly, are billed through your Apple ID account, and renew automatically every month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing or cancelling: you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store under your profile. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting your GutCompass account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it with Apple first.
Refunds: payments are handled by Apple, so refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
You agree to provide accurate information to the best of your ability, keep your account credentials secure, and use the app only for its intended personal-tracking purpose.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
